Use the final product price for your dates and ages. Avoid using an old “from” price as the decision number.
Transportation
Hotel pickup, meeting-point travel, rental car, fuel, tolls, parking, and the final hotel connection can change which option is actually cheaper.
Meals and extras
Included food can materially change the day cost. Add lockers, photos, premium activities, tips, drinks, and anything not included in the exact ticket.
For a five-night vacation, there is another cost: the resort day you give up. If you paid for an all-inclusive resort, a full-day excursion replaces food, drinks, pools, beach time, and amenities already embedded in the room price.
